Photocopies

The 15% of each volume or journal issue may be reproduced, excluding advertising pages, according to the current law 633/41 and D.L. 68/2003. This limit may be exceeded only in case of rarities or out of print publications.

You are not allowed to copy:

  • Publications before 1900;
  • Damaged works;
  • Sspecific call marks;
  • Big format works;
  • Tight binding works;
  • Rarities;
  • Bound miscellanies;
  • Fragile cover publications ;

  • tavole protette da veline;
  • illustrazioni incollate parzialmente;
  • album di raccolte di fotografie;
  • legature a taglio incollato;
  • Flimsy plates, partially glued illustrations and photographs albums;
  • The use of tripods, flash, lamps or any other external tools is not allowed and reproductions must respect volumes preservations.

    Reproductions for studying reasons

    Users have to fill in a form with their own personal data, work’s data (author, title, etc.), the number of pages to reproduce, their own statement that such bibliographical material will not be used for profit. (Modello 23)

    Reproductions for editorial and commercial use

    They must be submitted to the Director. (Modello 24) In order to obtain the authorization, it’ is necessary to indicate the author, the title, the publisher and the place of publication, as well as the estimated circulation and the cover price.For fees, please contact our staff - Direction.
