Loan Services

This service allows you to borrow books owned by this Library (local loan) or by national / international Libraries (interlibrary loan).

Only major people are admitted to loan after getting the Library membership card, which is free and strictly personal.

Each user is responsible for the books he borrows.

Only delegated people can check books out, while anybody else can bring them back.

Local loan

People are allowed to borrow up to a maximum of 4 volumes at the same time.

Loan has a term of one month extendable to a period not exceeding 3 months in succession, unless the volume has not been reserved by another user.

Users can also make on line book reservations indicating their personal details, address and telephone number.

It is not possible to make reservations for books that require special permissions.

Requested books remain available at the distribution desk for about five days, after that time they will be taken back to the Library repository.

In case of impossibility for users to come for checking out, they are asked to inform our distribution staff.
